The Essential (partial hood and fenders) starts at $399, The Standard (full bumper plus partial hood) at $699, and full front coverage — The Signature — at $1,499. Full-body is $3,999 and up. Here's my honest take for a downtown car: if it mostly lives in a parkade and only sees Memorial or Deerfoot on the way in, you don't need the biggest package. Full front is worth it if you're commuting in daily; if it's short hops and street parking, we can talk about a smaller front kit plus door-edge protection. Is PPF actually worth it if my car lives in a downtown parkade?

Accepted Answer

Depends what you're worried about. Parkades and Beltline street parking are death by a thousand cuts — cart dings, tight ramps, the door beside you swinging open, valet rash on the bumper corners. PPF takes those scuffs and abrasions instead of your clear coat, and light marks self-heal in the sun. I'll be straight though: it's an 8-mil urethane layer, not a force field against a full-speed door slam. For downtown-only cars I usually point people at front coverage plus door cups and edges — the spots that actually get chewed up in a parkade.

Can I drop my car off before work near the core?

Yes. Drop it with us, we'll text you when it's ready, and you can grab it on your way home — no sitting in a waiting room. We'll sort out key drop and, when one's free, a courtesy vehicle so you're not stranded. Most downtown clients treat it like parking the car for the day; it just comes back with armour on the front.

What's the best PPF package for parking downtown every day?

Accepted Answer

If you're driving in and out on Memorial, Deerfoot or Crowchild, The Signature full front ($1,499) is the one — hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors and headlights wrapped, which is where the road throws chips. If your real enemy is the parkade, we'll add door cups and edge protection so the panels people brush past stay clean. And if you want the whole thing bulletproofed, The Masterpiece full body ($3,999+) includes ceramic coating on top. I'll recommend based on how you actually drive, not the biggest invoice.

How long does a PPF install take?

Accepted Answer

Partial front (Essential, Standard) is a 3–5 hour job — drop it in the morning, home with it that night. Full front (The Signature) is a full day. Full-body coverage runs 5–7 days. Our bays are heated and climate-controlled, so your booking date is your install date; we don't push you because it snowed. Dust and temperature ruin a film job, and downtown doesn't do quiet weather, so this all happens indoors.

I drive a leased or company car downtown — is PPF still worth it?

Accepted Answer

Often more worth it. On a lease, chips and scuffs are exactly what gets flagged at return, and PPF keeps the front looking factory so you're not eating a damage charge. It's film, so we can peel it off cleanly down the road with the paint untouched underneath. If it's a car you'll hand back or resell, protecting the front is one of the easier decisions you'll make.

How do I look after PPF parked downtown?

Accepted Answer

Barely any effort. Give it 7 days to cure before the first wash, then use a pH-neutral soap and skip the automatic brush tunnels — those swirl everything, film or no film. The top coat is hydrophobic, so downtown dust and street grime rinse right off. Light scratches heal themselves in the sun. That's about the whole maintenance routine.
