Paintless dent repair in Calgary

A traditional body shop fixes a dent by filling it with Bondo (body filler), sanding down your factory clear coat, and trying to spray on a colour that matches. Sometimes it does. Sometimes you can still spot the repair in the right light years later. It also puts that panel on a waiting list before it can be protected, and how an oven-baked panel changes that waiting period is rarely explained at handover.

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) skips all of that. Reading the dent's reflection under a calibrated PDR light, we get behind the panel — through a window channel, a door frame, or a piece of trim we've removed — and push the metal back to its factory shape a fraction of a millimetre at a time. After a storm that matters more than it sounds — why intact paint is what keeps a hail-dented panel repairable.

When there's no way in behind the panel, we switch to glue pulling: tabs on the surface let us draw the dent out from the outside. Sharp creases over a body line get tension relief first — working the metal around them so the panel releases evenly instead of leaving a flat spot. It's slow, deliberate work, not brute force. On a car wearing paint protection film there is an access question first: when film can stay on for PDR and when the panel has to be stripped first.
